Wu Xinbo, director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, told the Global Times that many ways of thinking as well as actions of the US are against China's interest, and also against the interest of the vast majority of countries worldwide.
"As a responsible major country, we, China, should make our position clear, and to clearly tell the world about what we are upholding, and if we want other countries to support us, we should tell them where we are going," Wu said.

More and more people have come to the realization that rather than amassing material wealth, the most pressing task is to find a guiding beacon for the sustainable development of human civilization, because we all care about our future.
