In a Feudal State essay,
we explore the underlying perception of racism and fear of non-Malays that acts as a smokescreen to perpetuate a quasi-feudal system in Malaysia, where wealth, land, and political power remain concentrated in the hands of a small cohort of elites.
Addressing this undue identification requires shifting the focus from racial divisions to class-based inequalities and toward dismantling the patronage networks that sustain modern feudalism.
